September 11, 2004, the PCL Padres Hall of Fame Selection Committee met at the
Breitbard Hall of Champions. Committee members were: Bob Chandler (SABR

Chapter President), Johnny McDonald (SD Union beat writer 1961-65), Jim

author of several books covering the PCL Padres). In addition to the
member survey results (29 ballots received), input was also received from
former PCL players Jack Harshman and Bob Skinner; PCL Historical Society
President (who also is SABR President) Dick Beverage; and Rick Smith, former
writer with the SD Evening Tribune.

be honored as members of the Hall of Fame.
